Presentation with Show and Tell July 5th 2017
This image shows our Chairman Andy and Treasurer Alan Presenting this years charity representative Alan Norris with a cheque for £500 from the proceeds of our show.
Remap is a national charity that works through local groups of skilled volunteers. We help disabled people achieve independence and a better quality of life by designing and making equipment for their individual needs. This tailor made equipment helps people to carry out essential daily tasks without having to ask for help, or helps them take part in leisure occupations or sports that would otherwise be impossible.
This years show has been a success with more visiting clubs than before, there was competition from another event in the town with a fine hot day and a breeze, but we had a steady flow of people coming in, not so many young ones attended but those that did enjoyed the supervised Make and Take on the balcony, where aircraft can be made, painted and taken home free of charge, there has been positive feedback from the clubs attending and wish to return next year, viewing visitors commented on a good show, we look forward to a good show again next year, thank you all.
On the left is club Chairman Andy presenting Billy with the trophy for winning the annual Christmas competition, entries can be seen on the Competitions page.

Right are some models on the table for the Presentation/Social evening.
